The East Stand at Kingsholm stadium has been evacuated on safety grounds due to high winds tonight during a match between Gloucester and the Barbarians.
The safety precaution comes as Storm Barney picks up across the South West. Fans were moved to the main stand.
Video footage captured by Richard Hibbard shows the posts being blown in the wind:
There are possible disruption to flights to and from Land's End Airport due to the adverse weather conditions as Storm Barney hits the coast.
People are advised to check their flights before travelling.
As Storm Barney hits the West Country, with gusts of up to 80 miles an hour forecast on the coast, people are being warned not to pose for selfies in the spray, as they could be putting their lives at risk.
The warning comes from the Environment Agency and the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents, which are also asking motorists to avoid flood water.
Barney, the second storm powerful enough to be given a human name by the Met Office, will bring gale or severe gale force westerly winds on Tuesday afternoon and evening, generating large waves around exposed coasts in the South West.
