Several bus services suspended due to icy conditions

A number of bus services in our region have been cancelled or suspended due to the poor weather conditions.

First West of England have said it's "too dangerous to run any services", but they will re-assess the decision around midday.

Most Stagecoach buses have resumed, including services in Mount Batten and Bideford.

The Plymouth to Bristol Airport service is being reviewed for a 12pm departure.


Wiltshire Council and police warn against driving

Wiltshire Council and Wiltshire Police are urging not to attempt to drive in the county at all today.

Heavy snow has left a number of people trapped in their cars as emergency services attempt to reach as many as they can.

Ski club closes due to too much snow!

As Storm Emma continues to disrupt travel and other services across the region, even clubs that offer snow sports are being forced to close.

The Torquay Alpine Ski Club announced that it would not be shutting 'in the interest to public and staff safety'.
