The Tate St Ives gallery is due to re-open this weekend after a £20million transformation.
The four-year project has doubled the size of the building and has also provided space for educational activities and new studios.
The gallery will open on Saturday, 14 October, with a solo exhibition of new and previously unseen works of sculptor Rebecca Warren.
There will also be a new large-scale display exploring the story of modern art in St Ives.
Plans to expand the Tate Gallery in St.Ives have gone on public display. The twelve million pound development will use land next to a row of flats which is being redeveloped. A controversial alternative to use a car park at the back of the gallery has been dropped.
