George Osborne is in the South West this morning and is expected to unveil his long term plans for the the region.
The Chancellor who is meeting with fishermen in Newquay will be joined by The Prime Minister later on today.
The plan will set measures to get over 150,000 more people into work, and increase the size of the regional economy in real terms by £6.4bn by 2030 (the equivalent of over £1000 per person). He will also announce £10m of funding for projects across the region through the coastal communities fund.
The Chancellor will say that by working through a long term plan 'the future is bright in the south west'
