More than 700 homes are currently without power in Somerset.
Western Power says 715 homes in Ilminster are affected, but they hope to have power restored by 19:00.

Where weather has permitted, our Helicopter Unit has also been on hand to further pinpoint damage caused to our overhead network and to help speed up repairs and power restoration times.
