Man Dies In M5 Exeter Crash

A 47-year-old man from Shropshire died in a crash on the M5 near Exeter yesterday afternoon.

The motorway was closed for several hours causing long delays on the diversion routes.

ROADS: M5 - Devon - closed

The M5 is closed in both directions due to an accident involving a camper van a car between J28 (Cullompton Services) and J29 (Exeter/Honiton).

All southbound traffic is advised to leave at J28 and follow the triangle symbol via the B3181 to rejoin the M5 at J29.

Northbound traffic should leave at J29 and follow the circle symbol, also via the B3181 and rejoin at J28.
