Swindon Town FC sale completed

Swindon Town Football Club has been sold to Seebeck 87 Ltd, which now has 99% of the club's shares. The new club board will be chaired by Jed McCrory, head of a consortium which backs Seebeck 87.

Chairman Sir William Patey, Andrew Black and Russell Backhouse have stepped down from the board. The new board retains Nick Watkins and will include new members Gary Hooper, Steve Murrall and Callum Rice.
