Army base at Salisbury Plain to become UK's largest

Salisbury Plain will become the largest base for army troops to return to when they come back from Germany. In an announcement made today, the Government has set out how it will spend one billion pounds building new accommodation for servicemen across the country.

Salisbury Plain will be the largest of seven major bases around the UK. It's expected the majority of troops will be back by the end of 2016.
