Shaken baby guilty verdict

A Cornish man has been found guilty of murdering his baby son by violently shaking him. Shane Hawkins, 25, had denied shaking eleven month old Kaydon before throwing him down, causing bleeding and swelling to his brain and eyes.

A father found guilty of murdering his 11-month old son after the baby was injured at a house in Bodmin is due to be sentenced today.

Shane Hawkins denied killing Kaydon in 2010. The baby suffered fatal head injuries and later died in hospital.
