A second energy device is to be tested at the Wave Hub project off Cornwall.
Scottish based company Seatricity will be attaching its floating generator to the off Hayle, next year.
If the trial is successful it hopes to generate electricity from the site in 2015. There are already plans to test a wind turbine at the site.
Bob Tillotson from Seatricity says the experimental device drives a turbine which produces electricity.
