A woman from Plymouth who smothered her sick mother with a pillow has been jailed for life. Angela Douglas will serve a minimum of 12 years in prison.
The 49-year-old from Ernesettle had admitted the killing but denied charges of murder. She claimed she didn't want to see her mother suffer but the jury at Plymouth Crown Court yesterday found her guilty of murder.
