The sunny start to the bank holiday weekend saw a boost to tourism trade across the west country, many of which had suffered from the winter floods.

Pennywell Farm in Buckfastleigh saw it's busiest day in 25 years and The Lost Gardens of Heligan in Cornwall saw an 18 per cent rise in visitor numbers this month.
