Tavistock runner aims to break own world record

A record-breaking runner from Tavistock hopes to set new a record for running 10 marathons in 10 days. Adam Holland, 27, wants to become the first person to break three hours for each of the distance runs.

Adam is hoping to raise £3,000 for the Brathay Trust, a charity in Cumbria that works with vulnerable young people. He is the youngest person to run 100 marathons and also holds the word record for being the youngest and fastest person to run 10 marathons in 10 days.

Adam now wants to beat his own record by returning once again to run in the Brathay Ten in Ten between Friday 9th and Sunday 18th May. He is one of 15 runners picked to compete in the event around the edge of Lake Windermere.
