Fistral Beach hit by bathing ban

Bathing has been banned at one of Britain's best known beaches because of dangerous stretches of reef exposed by the winter storms.

The ban, at Fistral Beach in Newquay, will be at high tide and last for four hours every day. There are fears it could be in place into the summer when the beach is packed with tourists and holidaymakers.
