'Devastated': Grieving community mourns Bath lorry tragedy

Today a shocked community in Bath mourns the tragedy which saw four people killed by an out-of-control truck on Lansdown Road yesterday afternoon.

We spoke to residents in the area, who told us the brutality of what has happened has left them devastated.

The victims of the tragedy have been named as a four-year-old girl who was walking with her grandmother, a newlywed chauffeur and two Welsh businessmen. The little girl's grandmother remains critically ill at Southmead Hospital this evening.

A packed church service this morning paid tribute to the victims. Bath and North East Somerset Council will be placing books of condolence at Weston Library and Bath Library for people to pay their respects.
