Lorry crash in Bath kills four, including four-year-old girl

Four people have died after a serious collision in Weston near Bath. Those killed include a four-year-old girl, two Welsh businessmen and a newlywed taxi driver.

Victims of lorry tragedy formally identified

Police have identified the three men who died in the Bath truck crash tragedy on Monday.

59-year-old Robert Parker from Cwmbran in Wales was killed along with Western Power boss Phillip Allen when a lorry overturned on top of their car on Lansdown Lane. The chauffeur, 34-year-old Stephen Vaughan also died. Mr Allen and Mr Vaughan were both from Swansea.

Four-year-old pedestrian Mitzi Rosanna Steady died instantly when she was hit by the truck. She was walking with her grandmother, Margaret Rogers, who remains in hospital.
