South West's infrastructure to receive over £20 billion boost

More than £23 billion pounds will be invested in the South West's roads, rail and air network, it was announced today.

The 'Infrastructure Package' as it's called is the first of its kind and was announced by the Treasury Secretary Danny Alexander.

He says it will provide a huge boost to the region's economy with thirty eight projects in the pipeline, from the Isles of Scilly to Exeter.
