Police have formally identified a man found dead at a property in Torquay on Monday 16 November.
He has been named as David Earnshaw, 36, from Torquay. His next of kin have been informed.
Police have launched a murder investigation and are following up a number of lines of enquiry.
Three people from Torquay were arrested in connection with the incident. Two men, aged 35 and 43, and a 44-year-old woman were taken to Torquay police station.
The 44 year old woman and 35 year old man have since been released without charge with no further action being taken.
A 38 year old local man was arrested in Torquay during the early evening of Wednesday 18 November and he remains in custody at Torquay awaiting interview.
The 43 year old man also remains in custody.
