The Foreign Office have confirmed that a young man from Wiltshire believed to have gone missing in Thailand is safe and well.
The family of 21-year-old backpacker Jordan Jacobs were concerned for his safety after a worrying phone call, which suggested he was being held captive.
“Jordan Jacobs has been located by local authorities in Koh Phi Phi, Thailand, and is safe and well. Our embassy staff have spoken with him to check on his welfare and we will remain in contact with his family to provide any further assistance required.”
