Dementia fears preventing people from seeing GPs

It's been revealed more than 60 per cent of people in the South West put off getting a diagnosis of dementia for a year or more. A study by the Alzheimer's Society found people don't go to the doctor because they fear it will mean their life is over. Now a writer from Cornwall has written a book about how his mother coped with her diagnosis and how he helped care for her through the illness.
