Marine A bail hearing postponed

A Royal Marine who was jailed for the murder of an Afghan fighter has had his bail hearing postponed.

Alexander Blackman was due to hear today whether he will be released ahead of an appeal against his conviction.

But judges chose to postpone their decision until Wednesday saying they needed more time to look at evidence around Blackman's mental health.

Blackman's wife Claire left court to applause and cheers of "stay strong".
