City manager Lee Johnson on Taylor move: 'I think it's brave'

Bristol City manager Lee Johnson has spoken for the first time after the club signed Matty Taylor, 26, from local rivals Bristol Rovers.

Following City's 2-2 draw with Sheffield Wednesday, Johnson said that moving across Bristol was a "brave" move from Taylor.

Johnson identified Matty as a "poacher and goalscorer" and made clear that the Robins did there "due diligence" before signing the man who scored 67 times for Rovers on Deadline Day.
