Police are investigating after a security guard was stabbed in the leg outside a Morrison's store in Redruth, Cornwall.
The female member of staff at the store was approached by a woman and two men in the car park. The woman stabbed the security guard in the leg with a sharp implement.
The incident took place at the Morrison’s store on Agar Road at 1pm on Friday 14 July with the woman running off in the direction of the nearby estate after stabbing the security guard.
Police describe the suspect as white, in her 20s, 5ft 2ins tall, of slight build, with shoulder length curly blonde hair and she was wearing a blue tracksuit top and jeans.
Officers are asking anyone who witnessed the attack to call 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
