Sir William Romney's School in Tetbury is closed today, Wednesday 13 September, due to an IT problem. Staff say they are working to resolve the issue but must shut for health and safety reasons.

We regret to inform parents and students that the school will be closed Wednesday 13th September due to an IT server problem which occurred (yesterday) afternoon. We are working hard to resolve the problem, however, with no IT system available we must close the school for health & safety reasons. We hope to be up and running Thursday.

We sincerely apologise for this unforeseen closure and the inconvenience caused to all our students’ learning.

The school says it hopes to reopen tomorrow but staff and parents should check its Twitter and Facebook accounts for updates.

The good news is that a planned BBQ and disco for year 7s will still go ahead tonight.
