Man dies after being struck by several vehicles on M5

Police believe the pedestrian was hit by a lorry and other vehicles at around 4.40am, after leaving his car parked on a hard shoulder.

Two lanes on the M5 northbound have been closed while the investigation takes place, causing major traffic delays in south Gloucestershire.

Police name pedestrian who died in M5 crash

A pedestrian who died in a crash on the M5 in South Gloucestershire, has been named.

27-year-old Bartosz Marcin Bednarek died when he was struck by a lorry between Junction 15 and 14 on the M5 northbound.

Police say a family liason officer is supporting his next of kin.
