300 protesters march through Weston as overnight A&E stays closed

Around 300 campaigners marched through Weston-super-Mare today (Saturday 4 November), in protest at the continued closure of the town's Accident & Emergency department between 10pm and 8am.

Today is five months to the day since the closure came into effect, after the health watchdog, the Care Quality Commission, found the emergency department at Weston General Hospital was dangerously short of doctors.
