Hurdler Eilidh Doyle, who trains in Bath, has won a silver medal in the women's 400m hurdles at the Commonwealth Games.

The 31-year-old ran 54.80 seconds to finish second behind Jamaica's Janieve Russell at the Gold Coast's Carrara Stadium on Thursday.

It's her third straight silver in the 400m hurdles after she was runner-up at the Delhi and Glasgow Games.

Originally from Scotland, Eilidh also had the honour of carrying the flag at the opening ceremony this year.
