The Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery in Exeter will remain closed today, Friday 9 November and tomorrow, Saturday 10 November.

A spokesperson for the museum says the closure is due to a problem involving its emergency back-up generator.

Unfortunately we've been unable to get a replacement emergency generator onto the museum site because of the narrow roads.

A smaller one will be arriving tomorrow.

All being well, the museum will reopen on Sunday.
