RNLI volunteers are often called into action with very little notice and at any time of day.

One member of the St Agnes RNLI Lifeboat team was responding to a call out and grabbed the first clothes he could find.

Unfortunately for Ed Schwarz that meant pairing his pyjama bottoms with his wife's coat and some bright orange Crocs.

The lifeboat station uploaded a picture of the 'very stylish' Ed to their Facebook page where people appreciated his dedication to the job but questioned his unique fashion sense.

Give that man a medal or at least a fashion award for rescue boat chic
