Episode 10

It’s the last leg of Ainsley Harriott's epic exploration of the Mediterranean as he continues his travels across the middle eastern country of Jordan.

In the south sits the seaside city of Aqaba, Ainsley meets a local family who show him how to make date molasses that he uses in his fabulous Fattoush salad. 

There’s also a visit to the remarkable Petra, where Ainsley learns the history of the Bedouin people and discovers the astonishing Treasury building.

Back in his al fresco kitchen, chicken shawarma with tahini sauce and pita bread packed with spiced beef mince are both on the menu.
