Who’s Doing The Dishes? is a brand new daytime series for ITV presented by Brian McFadden featuring a host of celebrity faces all trying their hand at cooking…or cleaning as the case may be.
Each week, the programme follows four guests as they attend five dinner parties secretly hosted by different mystery celebrities in their own homes. Celebrity cooks include a host of stars from the world of TV, music and sport including; Louis Walsh, Claire Richards, Amy Childs, Jo Wood, Tina Malone, Wes Brown, Dane Bowers, Alison Hammond, Toyah Wilcox, Sian Lloyd, Vincent Simone, Cheryl Baker, Martin Offiah, Michelle Heaton, Gillian McKeith and Jo McElderry.
As the diners tuck in and deliver their culinary verdicts, they must try to work out who's cooking with the help of clues, which are hidden in the food as well as around the house.  The guests don’t know each other, but they must work together to try and figure out at the end of the evening who their celebrity host is.  If the team can successfully guess the name of the celebrity every night they can win a pot of cash to split between them and the celebrity will be putting their marigolds on. If they don’t, they’ll be doing the dishes!
Monday 15 September – Geoff Capes
This week kicks off in Grantham with Olympic legend and former World’s Strongest Man Geoff Capes. Geoff and Brian cook up a storm in the kitchen preparing a manly meal fit for an Olympian, but Geoff still finds time to put Brian through his paces with some strongman challenges; let’s just say ‘Team GB’ won’t be calling anytime soon.  A new set of hungry diners are looking forward to a famous feast but after Geoff’s Highland Haggis sends the group running for the hills they’ll need to regroup if their going to take home the cash. Can cheeky Leeds lad Callum keep his eyes on the prize, or will the Burnley beauty Amanda prove too much of a distraction? Pub landlord Mark and company director Amanda will have a job keeping the youngsters on track.  There’s £500 and a pile of dirty dishes at stake, but most importantly can the rowdy group get through the night without upsetting the Giant Geoff
Tuesday 16 September – Tina Malone
It’s off to Liverpool where one of the city’s best-known exports, actress Tina Malone, plays host to four diners looking for some posh celebrity nosh. As Brian looks forward to a leisurely day with his feet up at Tina’s house, he’s soon disappointed when she has him working harder than ever in the kitchen; isn’t the celebrity host meant to be doing the cooking?! After winning on their first night the team are looking to once again take away another £500. The older, wiser Mark and Joanne carried the team to victory at Geoff’s House, but a new house and a new celebrity bring new challenges and all four diners will have to start pulling their weight if they’re to dodge the dishes for a second time. But whilst the others have their mind on the game, Callum seems more interested in flirting with the blushing Amanda.
Wednesday 17 September – Wes Brown
Another day another dinner and tonight International Football Star Wes Brown has thrown open his doors to welcome our four diners for yet another famous feast.  After Brian and Wes manage to tear themselves away from a kick about in the garden, there’s time for a quick tour of the house, including Wes’ swimming pool, cinema room and a collection of illustrious medals and trophies any footballer would dream of.  The boys only then reluctantly head to the kitchen to whip a three-course feast for the hungry diners. Once the diners are seated and the food is served it’s down to the clues, and with two wins in the bag the team will be looking to make it a hatrick tonight. Tensions are beginning to show in the team as 27-year-old hairdresser Amanda and 47-year-old Joanne begin to lose their patience with smug pub landlord Mark.  As the team get locked into a battle of the sexes will they be able to keep their eye on the ball to take away another £500? They better hope so as those dishes are piling high.
Thursday 18 September – Tricia Penrose
In today’s episode of Who’s Doing the Dishes Heartbeat’s Tricia Penrose cooks for publican Mark, hairdresser Amanda, student Callum and company director Jo in her beautiful rural estate in Cheshire.  Tricia admits to being more likely to order a takeaway or rely on her husband to cook for her family, so today proves a challenge and she enlists Brian’s help to make her ambitious Yorkshire Roast. Tricia has a fight on her hands if she’s going to avoid the washing up with this wily lot; the diners have successfully guessed all three celebrities behind their food so far this week. Unfortunately for the awesome foursome, cracks are starting to show within the previously tight team dynamics.  Amanda and Jo feel Mark has been overriding their celeb suggestions on previous nights and want to make sure they have their say today.  Brian is forced to play referee as tensions spill over into a boys vs. girls standoff in Tricia’s final clues.  Can the team re-unite, add another £500 to the full prize pot and dodge doing the dishes?
Friday 19 September – Dane Bowers
It’s the last day for these four diners, and the last chance to add another £500 to their prize fund, this time hosted by ‘Another Level’ Pop Legend Dane Bowers. After a quick trip down 90s memory lane, discussing bad hair dos, and even worse fashion sense, Dane and Brian head to the kitchen to rustle up some freaky food for our awesome foursome.  After an explosive argument the night before the team are still reeling from first defeat of the week. 44-year-old pub landlord Mark is struggling to forgive and forget, but Burnley Babe Amanda and haulage contractor Joanne are showing no remorse. With young Leeds Lad Callum caught in the middle the atmosphere is tense around the table. The team are going to need to put their differences aside if they’re going to get back on track or else they’ll end the week with a huge mound of dirty dishes.
