Tonight reporter Fiona Foster looks at how services already at bursting point - such as schools, hospitals and the transport network - are going to cope with our population boom. 
We are in the middle of the biggest baby boom for forty years with more than 700,000 babies expected to be born in England in 2013. 
Then there’s our high rates of immigration - and the fact that we are all living longer. All of which means there’ll be another ten million of us squeezed into Britain by 2050.
