Ninja Warrior UK

Hit TV series Ninja Warrior UK will be returning to ITV for its fifth series in 2019 and this year viewers will see a competitor reach the mighty Mount Mirdoriyama as they attempt to be crowned the UK’s first Ninja Warrior.

Hosted by Ben Shephard, Rochelle Humes and Chris Kamara, the ultimate test of strength, speed and courage is back as another group of Ninja Heroes attempt to complete TV’s toughest obstacle

The eight-part series will be packed with exhilarating challenges, mind-blowing excitement and rip-roaring action, as an array of both new competitors, and returning heroes attempt to complete three gruelling and thoroughly entertaining stages.

In this new series fans will see one of the competitors reach the furthest point ever on Ninja Warrior UK and take on the final obstacle, the colossal Mount Midoriyama.   All that stands between them and being crowned the UK’s first Ninja Warrior is an iconic 22 metre rope climb (the equivalent of two double decker buses on top of each other).

As the challenge pushes our competitors to their limits, will they have what it takes to beat the ultimate obstacle course?

After four successful series and a thousand contestants, no individual has yet to reach the final stage. This series will witness the most determined and driven batch of competitors yet. For some of whom this challenge is all too familiar but who will have what it takes to reach the final hurdle?

Both Japan and the US have crowned their own Ninja Warriors but will the UK get their first winner?   Will this year’s competitors possess the skills and strength this time around to conquer all the gargantuan obstacles in their way, or they be beaten once again?

Ninja Warrior UK is based on Sasuke, a TBS format and will be produced by Potato, part of ITV Studios in the UK.
