Anyone with a passion for cooking has a favourite dish that they love to cook, be it something they created themselves, or a recipe passed down through the generations.

Now, in this delightful new series for ITV, a team of expert judges have scoured the country for Britain’s best loved recipe, with the winning dish earning a place on the shelves of Marks & Spencer and a £20,000 cash prize.
Presented by Carol Vorderman, the series will see contestants up and down the country bringing their dishes to be sampled.
The judges, Stacie Stewart from the Beehive Bakery, food writer and editor Tom Parker Bowles, food connoisseur Loyd Grossman and vice chairwoman of the WI Anne Harrison, will be tasting the dishes and choosing their favourites to go through to the next round.
From pasties to pastries, jellies to jalfrezis and cakes to casseroles, any dish is welcome as this colourful series celebrates food, glorious food for the nation.
This is a show that is not on the lookout for the next British super chef but just one brilliant home cooked recipe that the nation can fall in love with, and anyone and everyone is in with a chance.

Episode two:
This week the Food Glorious Food experts arrive in sunny Devon and home cooks from across the South West are out in force.
From one of the oldest pasty crimpers in the South West to father and son crab fisherman hoping to impress WI Top Brass Anne Harrison.
There is a bounty of culinary delights to feast your eyes on and get your stomach rumbling, along with the not so hot dishes like a pub landlord’s stir fry that fails to impress globetrotting gastronome Loyd Grossman.
