Series Synopsis

British dogs can’t believe their luck right now – the whole family is at home and it’s time to play. But you’re only allowed out for one walk a day, you can’t head to the countryside for a long romp and lots of parks are instigating a dogs on a lead rule. So as ten million UK dogs start to get a bit bored, this series is packed full of inspirational stories of how to bond with your dog and tips on how to keep them entertained, happy and healthy at home to get you and your dog through lockdown together. This is the show for everyone who must “Sit! Stay!” at home with man’s best friend. Narrated by Martin Clunes.

Episode 2

In episode two, we look at how we can use this extra time at home now with our dogs to strengthen our bond with them. Knowing how to connect with your dog and deepen your relationship with your four-legged companion is rewarding, not just for how happy it can make your dog feel, but owner too. Rabbit, a rescue mongrel, was a tearaway until he bonded with his household’s youngest owner.

Meanwhile, Geri Halliwell and Gok Wan attempt to win over the affection of their new dogs - with mixed results. However, sometimes it's not just a dog's relationship with their human owner, but actually other animals, that is the key to happiness. We meet Dallie, who discovers a  surprising new friend in Spanky, the rescue pony who she loves to ride.
