Episode 4
This week at the Big Audition Studios there are three very different jobs on offer: a highly sought after lead role in the West End, a presenting role for kids and the role of a scare actor at a theme park.
It’s fierce competition as the who’s who of stage and theatre search for a triple threat - someone who can sing, dance and act - to play leading lady, Velma, in the West End production of Chicago.  Stepping up to audition are Lauren, who’s making a come back after taking time out to have a baby, Laura, who’s hoping that after years of being in the shadows she might finally get her turn in the spotlight and Maddy who returns to musical theatre for the first time in three years following a winning fight with cancer. Expect leotards, high kicks and all that jazz.
BAFTA rolls out the red carpet on the hunt for the next young presenter to interview the rich and famous at star-studded events. To put their interviewing skills to the test, presenters Dr Ranj Singh from This Morning and Lindsey Russell from Blue Peter have been drafted in to act as nominees.  Hoping they’ll be taking home the prize are auditionees Lawrence, supported by his number one fan, his nan, Daniel, who hopes he’ll be able to conquer his nerves on the big day and larger than life Darcey, who might just win the panel over with her utter cuteness.
Thorpe Park bring us an out-of-this-world audition. They’re casting for scare actors to play zombies at their Fright Night season.  There’s bloodcurdling screams and coffins a plenty as hopefuls arrive ready to scare the living daylights out of the panel. Among the hopefuls are veterinary receptionist Emma, accountant Bharat, hotel receptionist Amee and restaurant manager Sean, who are all set to play dead.
Everyone must give it their all if they hope to impress the panel and land the job of their dreams.
