Bradley & Barney Walsh: Breaking Dad

Series overview

Actor and presenter Bradley Walsh and his actor son Barney are hitting the road together for a brand-new six-part series of the hit ITV show, Bradley & Barney Walsh: Breaking Dad.

Bradley & Barney Walsh: Breaking Dad follows our fearless father and son duo as they travel across Europe the father and son duo return for a brand-new six-part series of the hit show.

Bradley usually spends his holidays on the same old golden beaches of Portugal, so Barney wants to show him exactly what the rest of Europe has to offer, starting in The Netherlands and taking in Germany, Switzerland and Slovenia before finishing in Italy.

As always, Barney will be pushing his dad to the limits with more thrill-seeking activities like ski-jumping, paragliding and even a bungee jump. They’ll also immerse themselves in the local culture, enjoying everything from Swiss yodeling to Bavarian finger wrestling.

Episode 4 - Slovenia

The father and son have reached Slovenia, a country that loves its sport.

Brad’s passion for bikes gives Barney an excuse to take his dad motocross racing, which turns out to be a very slippery challenge.

After hearing that one in 200 people in Slovenia is a beekeeper, they make a stop to meet one, but they won’t be seeing any bees. Instead, they will be treated to some unusual honey therapies.

Upon reaching the capital city of Ljubljana, things take a magical turn when the pair join Slovenia’s national Quidditch team, followed by a trip towards the mountains in Planica, where they have a go at the notoriously dangerous sport of ski jumping. Their stay in Slovenia ends with a visit to one of the country’s most spectacular caves.
