Episode 7

This week we continue our countdown of our top 10 favourite family dishes, and we challenge Phil Vickery to wow us with his own super healthy, low cost and of course mouth-watering version. This week we're onto the runner up - which delicious dish will claim the number two in our countdown? It may be easy for Phil, but will this week’s Save Money family be able to cook up the same meal in their own kitchen?

Sian investigates what’s money well spent in our shopping baskets – this week she joins nutrition therapist Ian Marber look at the latest trend of foods with "added protein". Do our diets need a protein boost and are these food products worth in terms of both nutrition and cost?

We also look at high street coffee reward schemes - how much do you have to spend before you get your free cup?

And we’ll be putting kitchen gadgets to the test to see whether they can make those everyday chores easier and to find what's out there at what price. This week, four bottle openers from the everyday to the super luxe are put through a Save Money road test.
