Love Island returns to Mallorca for its tenth sizzling series on ITV2 and ITVX

This summer, Love Island is back in Mallorca and set to return for its tenth sizzling series on Monday 5th June at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX as a host of brand new singletons seek to find love.

Produced by Lifted Entertainment, ‘part of ITV Studios’ and Motion Content Group, Love Island will see Maya Jama make her return as host presiding over all of the Villa action, whilst famed comedian and narrator Iain Stirling returns to voiceover each and every episode of the much-loved format.

Returning to ITVX and ITV2 in June, the Islanders must do their best to flirt, date, couple up in a bid to avoid being ‘dumped’ from the Island. With new arrivals, heads may turn, while others will prove their true feelings. From romance and heart-to-hearts, to betrayal, bombshells and broken hearts, there’s never a dull moment in the ultimate search for love. More texts, fire pit gatherings and challenges await the lovestruck Islanders, meaning there’ll be plenty for them to dish the dirt on in the Beach Hut. Twists and turns will follow every step of the way, with shock recouplings, unexpected breakups and dramatic dumpings.

As the couples attempt to win the hearts of each other – and the public – one couple will ultimately triumph and be crowned Love Island winners for Summer 2023.

Plus, returning to ITV2 and streaming on ITVX is Love Island: Aftersun, with Maya Jama hosting live from London, catching up with Islanders as they leave the Villa, getting first-hand interviews from family, celebrity fans and ex-Islanders plus airing exclusive unseen footage. Also set to make its return this summer is the official Love Island podcast, Love Island: The Morning After, hosted by Sam Thomspon and Indiyah Polak as they chat through their thoughts on the latest couplings, dumpings and bombshell antics.

Love Island remains at the forefront of popular culture as it enters its tenth series. Since it launched on the 16th of January, Series 9 of Love Island has had over 161 million programme streams on ITVX to date. The launch attracted the biggest audience of the series, with 3.4m viewers - making it currently the biggest digital audience of the year so far. Lastly, over on social, the Love Island social accounts have garnered over half a billion video views, plus over 4 million tweets about the last series.

Showcasing the show’s ability to engage a younger demographic, the launch achieved 1.5m 16-34s across all devices, making it the biggest commercial audience for 16-34s since the World Cup. Plus, over on social 44% of Twitter conversation from the last series was driven by Gen Z (18-24 year olds).

Love Island is co-owned by ITV Studios and Motion Content Group Ltd and is distributed internationally by ITV Studios. The hit show has been commissioned in 26 territories ranging from the UK to the USA, Greece to Germany and many more.
