ITV today launches its autumn highlights which feature a rich variety of drama, brand new entertainment and blue chip factual, both on its main channel and its forthcoming brand new free streaming service ITVX.

This new content comes on the back of a bumper year for the channel.  New half year consolidated ratings data has revealed that ITV has once again dominated the big TV genres so far in 2022 with three out of the four most watched new dramas on any channel or streamer as well as the top six entertainment shows.  ITV is already on track for its biggest year yet in streaming having hit 1bn streams.

ITV’s entertainment slate continued to dominate viewing across this genre, with Britain’s Got Talent, The Masked Singer, Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, Dancing on Ice plus new commissions Ant and Dec’s Limitless Win and Lee Mack’s 1% Club, taking the top six entertainment show spots of the year so far.

Overall, ITV has recently surpassed 1 billion streams, with No Return being the most-watched watched drama in terms of ITV Hub viewing, Ghislaine, Prince Andrew and the Paedophile being the most-watched factual programme and Love Island having its biggest ever series on the ITV Hub with over 250 million streams to date.

And ITV won a total of seven prestigious BAFTAS this year, more than any other channel or streamer.
