All star cast set to join Keith Lemon and Paddy McGuinness in The Keith and Paddy Picture Show
Keith Lemon and Paddy McGuinness will be joined by a host of celebrity guests in The Keith and Paddy Picture Show, a brand new five part series for ITV, from Talkback, part of FremantleMedia UK. The comedic duo will recreate some of their favourite movies of all time, including Rocky, Dirty Dancing and Jaws.
Keith and Paddy will be joined by Marcella star Anna Friel as Adrian Balboa and former JLS popstar Marvin Humes as Apollo Creed in Rocky.
Dirty Dancing will see former Pussycat Doll Kimberley Wyatt play Penny Johnson, Spaced actress Jessica Hynes as Marjorie Houseman, actor Larry Lamb as Dr Houseman and Torchwood star John Barrowman as himself.
DCI Banks actor Stephen Tompkinson will take on the role of Quint in Jaws, with other cameo appearances across all films including Andi Peters as Mr T in Rocky.
Anna Friel said: “I met Keith and Paddy a long time ago and we promised we would work together. I didn’t envisage it would be playing Rocky’s wife, but can tell you Paddy has a rockin’ body!”
Kimberly Wyatt commented: “I’m thrilled to be part of this exciting, brand new show with the hilarious Keith and Paddy. Dirty Dancing is one of my all-time favourite films so I’m excited to get on the dance floor and teach Baby a thing or two!”
Stephen Tompkinson added: “I'm thrilled to be joining the team of The Keith and Paddy Picture show for a more 'fishy than usual' reworking of Spielberg's legendary thriller Jaws. Just when you thought it was safe to sit down in front of your TV screens..."
Airing on ITV primetime in Spring 2017, each half hour episode will be a mix of film parodies and behind-the-scenes mock-doc footage.
The Keith and Paddy Picture Show is a Talkback production, commissioned for ITV by Commissioning Editor, Comedy and Entertainment, Saskia Schuster. Executive produced by Leon Wilson, Managing Director of Talkback and written by Leigh Francis, Paddy McGuinness, Dan Johnston and Jamie Deeks and produced and directed by Dan Johnston and Jamie Deeks.
