Mayor Boris Johnson faced his toughest interview yet when he came face to face with Little Ant & Dec when he invited them along to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park ahead of it’s opening on 5th April.

TV’s teeniest duo, unleashed their unique interview style on The Mayor, quizzing him on the important topics including, not brushing his hair, his lack of typical Mayor attire and testing his London slang.

Little Dec asks The Mayor, “Do you get told off for never brushing your hair?”

Mayor Boris Johnson admits, “Yes very frequently.  I do it’s a failing of mine.”

After Little Dec presents The Mayor with a comb, he leaves the duo bemused when he admits he will be using the gift for something other than brushing his hair.  Mayor Boris Johnson said, “Thank you very much I will keep that it’s a handy looking object, I can use it to scratch my back.”

Little Ant asks, “If you are the Mayor where is your big hat and gold chain?

Mayor Boris Johnson replies, “I don’t have either a hat or a chain”

When Little Ant adds, “You’re The Mayor you should have that stuff.”  He replies, “Well I know it’s very nice of you to say so Little Ant.”

Little Dec then asks, “My daddy said there is a lot of posh totty in London what does he mean?”

Mayor Boris Johnson adds, “I don’t know what your father means by that but I’m sure he’s right.”

After teaching Mayor Boris Johnson some Geordie phrases and testing his London slang, Little Dec adds, “Thank you very much you’re the first Mayor we’ve ever met!”
