ITV4 will broadcast daily highlights of La Vuelta a Espana following its coverage of the 2014 Tour de France.

Presenter Gary Imlach and reporter Matt Rendell are joined by commentators Phil Liggett, Anthony McCrossan and Graham Jones as well as studio guests including Roger Hammond for the 21-stage race, which starts in Jerez de la Frontera on Saturday August 23 and ends in Santiago de Compostela on Sunday September 14, covering a total distance of 1,977 miles.

It's the fourth year ITV4 has broadcast the race, and this year the channel will air a 60-minute highlights programme from each race day. Additionally, the ITV Player will simulcast highlights programmes.

Last year’s Vuelta was won by Chris Horner at the age of 41, and this year’s race which features eight mountain stages could be contested by British riders including 2013 Tour de France winner Chris Froome and sprint specialist Mark Cavendish.
