This Morning returns for a new series with a brand new look
Starts Tuesday 1st September at 10.30am on ITV
To mark the start of the new series, ITV’s flagship daytime show This Morning will welcome viewers from Tuesday 1st September with a new look logo, titles and studio when hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby return.
The teal colour logo coupled with the gold ‘water ripple’ effect symbolises both the show’s Liverpool Dock riverside origin and its current riverside home on London’s Southbank - some 27 years on.
Phillip and Holly filmed a special sequence for the new titles depicting their daily arrival to the studio. Viewers will see Holly getting out of a taxi before stopping to buy a magazine, whilst Phillip is seen walking to a coffee shop where he has a ‘selfie’ with customers that is sent to Holly, who is now getting ready in make up. As the familiar This Morning theme tune music draws to a close, the presenting duo are finally seen in different outfits walking down a corridor heading towards the studio.
This Morning’s studio look will still feature it’s iconic view of the River Thames but the shows presenters, experts and guests will have different areas to sit, cook and perform in the new open plan design layout - and for the first time the show’s logo will also feature on the outside of ITV’s Studio 8 building!
ITV Studio’s Managing Director of Daytime, Emma Gormley said, “We are thrilled that This Morning has been given a fresh look for the new season. With Phillip and Holly back together again, fantastic content plus the chance across ITV Daytime for one viewer to become a millionaire in our biggest ever competition ever - September promises to be a really exciting time!”
This Morning’s Editor, Martin Frizell added, “It’s a big September for This Morning and without giving anything away our viewers will be treated to surprises from the first few minutes on air.”
