Multi-season, multi-year deal for The Voice franchise in India
 
Talpa and Star India have signed a multi-season, multi-year deal for The Voice franchise, comprising The Voice and The Voice Kids. This deal is the base of a bigger partnership with Star. By bringing The Voice franchise to Star, the number one stage in India, the shows can now unlock their full potential. After two successful seasons, the third season of the regular version will air in February 2019 on Star Channel, which reaches an average of over 500 million households in India. The new series will all be produced by Banijay Asia, a Banijay Group company.

The Voice, first on air in 2010 in the Netherlands, is the purest vocal talent competition ever. In this innovative primetime vocal contest looks don’t play a role. This show is all about real talent; it’s all about the voice! Four of the country’s top recording artists must select some of the nation’s most promising unknown vocalists to coach. But the selection process won’t be easy. Because the coaches must make their decisions based on the voice. And voice alone. In 2012 the kids’ version followed, The Voice Kids. This format features the same thrilling blind auditions and electrifying battles, except now the nation’s best young vocalists try to impress three of the country’s top recording artists! It’s fun, family oriented feel-good entertainment of the highest order!
