Access policy for ITV Picture Desk and ITV Press Preview website services

This Access Policy relates only to the following website services provided solely by the ITV Press Office on www.itv.com/presscentre and not to any other ITV services elsewhere.

Due to the commercial sensitivity around programme content, transmission details and image license Rights, every application is vetted on a strict basis at the sole discretion of the ITV Press Office.

This website service is to assist specific Picture Desks whose core remit is to reproduce ITV programme publicity images in the national or regional UK media business print and online publications they are employed by to do so.

This website service is a commercial business to business operation and our minimum access requirement is that you are registered as a UK business at Companies House.

We require an up to date valid UK business address for all approved users.

Are you a sole trader?

Please provide Company House (UK) business registration number on your application.

Are you freelancing as a Picture Researcher for a publication?

Please ask your commissioning editor to email itvpicturedesk@itv.com and verify your employment and period of employment.

Do you manage your own personal website / social platforms?

We do not provide access to members of the public who use social platforms to simply discuss ITV or ITV related content.  

We do not provide access to members of the public who manage their own website to simply reproduce Billings and / or ITV pictures.  

However, general access programme information and press releases are available at www.itv.com/presscentre

We do not provide access to websites which are not https protected. 

The ITV Press Office reserves the right to update this Access Policy at any time.

Due to the commercial sensitivity around programme content and / or  transmission details, every application is vetted on a strict basis as this service is intended for select journalists whose core remit is to preview ITV programmes for the national or regional UK broadcast media business they are employed by to do so.

If you only require access to review programmes, please refer to ITVX at www.itv.com where ITV programmes are available post-transmission or live.

This service is a commercial business to business service and our minimum access requirement is that you are registered as a UK business at Companies House.

We require an up to date valid UK business address for all approved users.

Are you previewing for a publication on a freelance basis?

Please ask your commissioning editor to email itvpresscentre@itv.com and verify your employment and period of employment.

Do you manage your own personal website / social platforms?

We do not provide access to members of the public who use social platforms to simply discuss ITV or ITV related content.  

We do not provide access to members of the public who manage their own website simply to reproduce Billings and/ or ITV pictures. We require sufficient examples of your editorial preview and review written articles about ITV programmes to substantiate your application.

However, general access programme information and press releases are available at www.itv.com/presscentre
