ITV to show Dubai World Cup for first time
For the first time, ITV4 will broadcast live coverage of the Dubai World Cup meeting at Meydan on Saturday 25th March.
Coverage of the fixture – which has attracted horses from a dozen countries, with the UK particularly well-represented – will consist of the final three races on the card, all Group 1s, culminating with the US $12m Dubai World Cup. The show will also see Frankie Dettori, in his ‘retirement’ year, going for another win in the headline race on Country Grammer.
From 3.55pm to 5pm, the coverage will be presented via a Racecourse Media Group-produced programme full of familiar faces to UK viewers including ITV Racing's Rishi Persad, Racing TV’s Nick Luck and both networks’ Ruby Walsh.
Live races:
3.10pm (all UK time) Dubai Turf
4.00pm Dubai Sheema Classic
4.35pm Dubai World Cup
