England centre Jonathan Joseph has been ruled out for three months with a chest injury, his club Bath have announced.

Joseph's club Bath have confirmed that the 24-year-old underwent surgery earlier this week to repair the damage sustained to his pectoral muscle and he is now a doubt for the start of the RBS 6 Nations.

The injury ruled Joseph out of the 28-25 defeat by Wales four weeks ago but he returned against Australia a week later before appearing as a replacement against Uruguay.

Burgess doesn't regret switching codes - says his brother

Sam Burgess has no regrets over his decision to switch codes, according to younger brother Tom.

The dual-code international has faced a barrage of criticism following his mixed involvement in the Rugby Union World Cup, just 12 months after moving from South Sydney, and speculation has grown that he could be about to cut short his stay in the 15-man code.

Lancaster included Burgess in his World Cup squad.
