Your eyes do not deceive you, Tom really is 6 foot 5. This personal trainer is ready to make an impact in The Lodge, telling us: "I would describe myself as very confident, big and impulsive. My friends would describe me as loud and the centre of attention."
He's raring to put his physicality to the test in the Challenges. "The boys should win because we are stronger, we tend to be better at sport and physical exercises and on that basis, we should win," he says.
Tom's a gentle giant, and isn't afraid to show his softer side, admitting: " I’ve not really thought about any fears yet... I’m going to miss my dog called Sammy. I’m not scared of anything in there but I will miss my dog."
That said, the 26-year-old is ready to make the most of the experience, and reveals he's excited about "meeting new people, being away from home and being in this completely new environment".
Is Tom up for finding love in The Lodge? "It’s dependent on who I see in there but I am definitely open to love," he says, adding: "Everyone expects me to go for tall girls but I like a small girl to look after."
He'll have to be careful not to get too close, though. "If one of the Girls that I like gets in my head, that’ll be my weakness," he admits.
Tom is hoping his fellow Teammates are all "real", revealing: "I hope they're all nice and hope no one will be a snake. You never know what’s going to happen in there."
"I don’t like arrogance in a guy. I’m confident and people assume I am arrogant, but I’m not," he says.
