All About David
Straight-talking David is open to love and excited by the possibilities of life in The Lodge. “You could meet a friend for life, or you could meet the love of your life. You can’t predict what will happen or who will be in there,” he ponders.
But is he willing to let the ladies distract him from the challenges and that ultimate prize?
The fitness model says he is “hardworking” and “very driven”, and is backing the Boys for the win all the way. Although he admits when it comes to the opposite sex, “When they want to, girls can get a pack together and be very strong.”
David reckons that people will underestimate him, and he’s ready to use that to his advantage in the challenges.
“The way I portray myself is this muscly pretty boy, but I am also quite intelligent,” he tells us, explaining: “If there are tactical challenges and the girls pick me because they think I’m thick, I will be able to surprise them.”
So what lights the 26-year-old’s fire when it comes to the opposite sex? “Personality is a big thing for me. You’ve got to be attractive but if you’ve got no chat, I can’t deal with you.”
When it comes to teammate turn-offs, David reveals: “There is a fine line between arrogance and cockiness – don’t get me wrong, I tread that line – but if there’s a guy in there who’s beyond arrogant, that would grind on me.”
